To mitigate these issues from a network engineering standpoint, Peplink has developed robust solutions. The Peplink 24 & 48 Port SD Switches are designed with integrated dual power supplies, ensuring uninterrupted operation even if one power supply fails. Upon detecting a power supply failure, the system will trigger an alert to TTI, indicating the necessity for replacing the compromised unit.
A Peplink router utilizes a technology called "SpeedFusion" which allows it to seamlessly switch between multiple internet connections like Ethernet, Fiber, Cellular and Starlink. If one of these services was to fail the Peplink Speed Fusion would continue to work with the second service. These two or more services can be connected a number of differnet ways from Bandwidth Bonding, Wan Smoothing or Hot Failover.
